I love everything about travel…

Including planning trips, capturing memories with a camcorder, and video editing. I’ve done it part-time for decades, and now it is my primary retirement activity. My wife and I have been on many amazing trips, and our bucket list still has a lot on it.

I have much to share with you, fellow travel enthusiasts. I find researching a trip builds excitement, and my documentation makes logistics easier and ensures we see as much as we can. We joke that we are on an Amazing Race while traveling. But now we intend to take it more slowly.

I capture a lot of video and images, which I package into quality videos for my Haswell Travelled YouTube channel - including map animation, background music and narration (I even write a script!). These are quality productions you can watch at your leisure, which look great on a big screen.

With this website, I'm glad to share a lot of content about travel destinations. This includes example itineraries, suggested walking routes, historical significance & stories about a location, and of course highlight images and video. I even intend to share content on our planned trips which we have yet to embark on - in case you chose to get there before we do!

My love of video goes back to my younger years shooting silent film, followed with real "cut & paste" of film onto a larger reel for the projector (I still have these items - Lol!). You can imagine how thrilled I was when I realized how much I could edit digitally on a computer. So I have been digitally editing video for about 20 years now - originally to produce DVD's & blue ray discs for family & friends. In 2020, I launched my YouTube channel, and now this website.

Please enjoy exploring your world on Haswell Travelled, visiting periodically for new postings, and checkout my YouTube channel & subscribe if you like it. If you would like to receive notification of new postings, send me an email request to address below. I also encourage you to share my website & channel with family, friends, and anyone you feel may also enjoy it.

Enjoy and safe travels!
