Haswell Travelled Website Launch
Whether you are dreaming of travel, looking for inspiration on destinations, planning a trip, or simply on a quest of global learning, Haswell Travelled has a lot to offer.
Originating as a YouTube Channel in January 2020, now quite successful with over 4.5K subscribers, 475K views, and 30.8K watch-time hours, a complimentary website is now launched in November 2022.
The Haswell Travelled brand has never waivered from delivering content which is entertaining and informative, with video quality you would expect from a television documentary: narration, background music, map animation, appreciation of history, and a good pace showcasing destinations. Many are in 4K, and also look great on a big screen. Many viewers have left compliments in appreciation of the Haswell Travelled production style. What you won’t see is selfie headshot commentary throughout - the traditional vlogging-style approach.
Providing travel destination content on a website was a natural next step from the YouTube channel. Re-packaging information provided in the videos is a good base to start, from which even more content can be added which didn’t make the video cut. For instance, some viewers have asked for documentation on self-guided walking tours shown in some of the videos. Webpage content can provide a visual map with detailed directions and more information on sights with images.
Haswell Travelled website is a work in progress, and developing webpage content for each destination takes time. With this first launch, detailed pages are provided for destination villages in Northern France (Normandy & Brittany) - which are the first set of videos launched in 2020. Detailed content is also provided for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake in Alberta, Canada. In the mean time, Haswell Travelled website completes its full list of destinations to date with direct links to their videos. The list of destinations is good inspiration for someone planning a trip, or just interested in learning, and enjoying travel documentaries.
Viewers to Haswell Travelled website today can find 59 destinations over 11 countries, each with a video.
New postings on Haswell Travelled will be identified on the website’s What’s New blog.
