Banff Gondola in Spring

In Canada’s Rocky Mountains, the Banff Gondola ascends Sulphur Mountain, providing one of the Rockies best panoramic views. Our spring-time visit at the end of March was especially beautiful with snow-topped mountains on a warm sunny day.

A must-do while on top, is to leisurely follow a boardwalk along the mountain ridge to Sanson’s Peak, with a small stone hut housing a weather station, enjoying more amazing views along the way.
