Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park

In the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the Icefields Parkway is known as one of the most scenic highways in the world, passing through both Banff and Jasper National Parks.

The northern half of the highway in Jasper National Park effectively starts at the vast Columbia Icefield with a unique 3-way continental divide. The Parkway continues north alongside jagged mountains, numerous waterfalls, more glaciers, and vast sweeping valleys with amazing panoramic viewpoints. Along the way are many key sights including: Athabasca Glacier, Icefield Skywalk, Tangle Creek Falls, Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Falls, Mount Edith Cavell, and Jasper SkyTram.

Enjoy the second of my two Icefields Parkway videos showcasing many fabulous sights: Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park

The above continues from my previous video on Icefield Parkway sights through Banff National Park. I you are planning your own trip up the Icefields Parkway, you can use both videos to help plan the sights you want to see.

The above also appears as a posting on my Canada-Alberta webpage. Enjoy this and other destinations on Haswell Tavelled!
